The National Senior Certificate (NSC), widely known as Matric, is the school-leaving qualification awarded at the end of Grade 12 in South Africa. It is based on the CAPS curriculum, issued after completing the FET phase (Grades 10–12), and results are a key factor in university, diploma and further study applications.
